Chrissie started life as a newspaper journalist and after some years with the Western Daily Press/Bristol Evening Post group she moved to the BBC as a Reporter in Birmingham. In between she spent a year writing Midlands Power the Generating Boards newspaper and reckoned it was difficult getting excited about 500 megawatt sets and 275kv lines!.
Having not received a buzz from her electric scribblings she went on to spend many happy years in radio as a presenter/producer moving from the BBC to British Forces Broadcasting in Cologne and Malta and then to Commercial.
Chrissie also enjoyed a successful television career in the South of England as a presenter/reporter. She now works for commercial and BBC radio and writes for newspapers and magazines.
She says the offshore jocks gave her the taste for radio and the greatest thrill was getting to work with Dave Christian and Dave Symons from Caroline. She says working for OMR is a privilege and great fun as she will get to play music she loves.
