E-mail: 1972 - 1979 Radio Rush Green - Hospital Radio Romford - Programme Controller
1980 - Short spell at Chelmsford Hospital Radio
1985-1987 - Founder member and Vice Chairman of Castle Radio in Colchester. Group founded to run community radio service in Colchester (before the rules changed - again!). Obtained a two day RSL to broadcast first legal commercial radio station in Colchester.
1999 - Short spell Oldchurch Hospital Radio
2004- Present - Hooray! Along came Offshore Music Radio - presented opening programme in March 2004 for OMR. I'm still there today where I can be heard on Sunday Mornings 7am to 9am UK time for the 60's Sunday Breakfast Show.
Likes - 60s and 70s music, Chinese food, Sunday roast, holidays in the USA and Spain, having my family around me.
Dislikes - Bad customer service (don't start me on that one!), being called "Col".
Favourite Music - The Beatles, Status Quo, Love, Man Of Action by Les Reed (see favourite radio station below!) and quite a few more.
Favourite Radio Station - Radio Nordsee International 1970-1974. Listening to that station influenced my life and started my interest in radio although I did listen to the 60s pirates.
Favourite Dee Jay - Robert W Morgan from KHJ in Los Angeles. Unfortunately now no longer with us - what a voice!
Memorable Occasions - Getting married, starting on hospital radio, OMR's opening day, live broadcast from the MV Communicator for Offshore Music Radio in 2004.
Ambitions - To see Offshore Music Radio succeed and broadcast on satellite and to live a long and happy life (not doing too bad so far!)
