My fascination with radio began when I was 7 years old in 1964. I was sitting on Margate beach with my grandma listening to Radio Caroline on her new tranny; she pointed out to sea and said that music is coming from a boat out there. From that day I was hooked on radio and especially Offshore Radio.

I loved Caroline, London and Swinging Radio England but my favourite station was Radio Northsea International.

I worked for 15 years doing a weekly programme on Hospital Radio. I have recorded programmes for several stations and done countless programmes for RSL stations. Must recently the "Solid Gold Sixties" Show on Erewash Sound in the East Midlands.

I love real radio, where the music is chosen by people not computers, where the presenters have personalities and don't just read liner cards. That's why I love working here at Offshore Music Radio.
